Bower Hinton in winter

Bower Hinton in winter

We woke up one February (2009?) to a blanket of snow of a depth which we knew pretty much straight away meant there would be very little movement in and out of the village in which we were living for a few days, so I pulled on my boots and went out in search of photo opportunities with my old Kyocera pocket digital. This tree was standing alone in a field behind the farm about 200 yards from our house….splendid isolation. So far I’ve resisted the temptation to Photoshop the telegraph poles and lines out…..
